Zeke (black & white) and Barlow (all white)) were the first of our herd. We fell fast in love with these two Nigerian Dwarf goats and decided to buy more.. Zeke is AGS and NDGA registered. Barlow is a wether. (Click on Zekes pictures for more information).
MoonShadow is a tiny black with brown spotted AGS/NDGA registered Nigerian Dwarf miniature dairy goat. This color pattern is exactly opposite of the more typically found brown with black spotting pattern. These brown on black spots are called "moon spots". Click on her picture to go to her information page.
Sonny was our 1st buck. He is AGS/NDGA registered gold with some white. He has blue eyes. Click on his picture to go to his information page and see his progeny.
Homer was our novelty goat - a Tennessee Fainting goat. We got him just for grins, but quickly fell in love with his sweet personality. A Tennesse Fainting goat is bred to 'faint'. Originally they were used in a herd of sheep as a sacrifice to a predator that attacked the herd. When a wolf startled the sheep, the herd would run off leaving the fainting goat lying there as an easy meal. Click here to see a good site about Fainting Goats - but don't forget to use your back button to get back here. Homer recently went to a new family in Corydon, Indiana.

Ezra is a 3rd generation Mini-Mancha (a cross between a LaMancha and Nigerian Dwarf). Notice the LaMancha ears and the more robust Nigerian Dwarf body? She will be mid size between a LaMancha and a Nigerian Dwarf. An excellent combination.
Moon Shadow is our smallest goat and she always has triplets. She gets so wide that it is unbeliveable. She is a great mom and has never rejected any of her kids.
8-1-06 Bella birthed one Buck. He's tri-colored with blue eyes. He's a big boy too....his first day he was as bigger than his week-old 1/2 siblings.

Our Statement: We are a hobby farm. We only have a few goats and they are pet quality. We haven't had the time to do the showing aspect as we still (unfortunately) have to work day jobs. We are still beginners and learning every day... so please have mercy when we make mistakes. The purpose of this website is to learn, share, and have some fun. We are learning about goats, mules, dogs, chickens, and website development. We have a design store too that we hope you will visit. It's filled with wonderful gifts for goat lovers. Any information you get here, back it up with your vet or a more experienced breeder. You are free to link to this site from yours (as long as it is kid friendly). Feel free to send in tips or information that you would like to share. We are allowing the kids to be dam raised. We feel that the goats are friendly enough with daily attention. The bottle fed babies are great but we just simply don't have the time. We visit and pet our goats daily and they are people friendly. The rescue goats we have acquired began wild and eventually tamed just by regular contact. We haven't gotten into the 'show' aspect of goating. We cannot answer any questions along that line. We are only sharing what we have learned so far. We've only begun our journey of knowlege. We hope you walk a bit of the way with us and enjoy the site. Thank you very much for visiting. And... HAPPY GOATING!
Zeke's 1st kidding producted a boy that looked just like a miniature version or her.

Design: Lap Lander with a licker license. I had a Jack Russell Terrier that was crazy about licking me in the face. My friend Larry said - "Hey, does she have a licker license?" Next thing you know, he added the lap lander because she's such a silly ole lap dog. We figured lots of other people probably have kissy dogs too, so we made this design -- My Dog is a Lap Lander with a Licker License!. This design is available for many dog breeds...check the drop list below. We are adding more designs as fast as we can so please keep checking back. Bookmark this page and join my newsletter at the design store.
Be sure to browse our design stores for goat or dog related T-shirts and other clothing. We also have magnets, buttons, home & office and other stuff. (We have expanded our store to include many other categories too ... such as sports, people, holidays and MORE!)
Design: GOATA Here is a design series about a wise old goat named GOATA ~ when I was showing a co-worker my goat pictures, Hal said -- hey, that one looks like YODA! It looks like he is saying "May the Forage be with you!" We laughed and laughed and before you know it, GOATA was born along with many GOATA proverbs. Click on the picture to see many more GOATA designs and when you find a design you like - apply it to any of the many products that are available. If you have an idea for a GOATA wisdom design, please contact me. Thanks for looking!

Clover is a doe that we are retaining from Remi's Columbian Park Zoo mating. She is all white.
Nilla is a rescue goat. We got her locally. She has an interesting story. Her baby was attacked by a red hawk. Nilla's owner went to try to rescue it and took it to the vet. The baby died from the injuries. The vet suggested that the owner put the baby back into the field where she found it so that Nilla would accept the death. Unfortunately when Nilla saw her owner with the dead baby, she turned against the owner and would never friendly up to her again. The owner was sad to give her up. Nilla is still a little shy here - but she is coming around. She is very smart. The first night she was here she opened the gate to her holding pen and went and got in with the rest of the goats. I generally don't like the goats to have horns, but she is an extra special one. She touched my heart.
